We stayed for 3 weeks altogether in a superior king room with a view of the river and really enjoyed this hotel. It is in a central location - 2 mins from Glasgow Central station, 2 mins from the Subway/underground rail, 2 mins from heaps of good shops, right by the river, and 5-10 mins walk from a variety of good restaurants. This is a very well run hotel. All the hotel staff - reception, bar, housekeeping, maintenance, security - were very friendly and helpful and any requests we made were fulfilled quickly. The room was well-equipped and in good condition. The bed was comfortable and as we like to sleep without heating on we needed 2 duvets in an exceedingly cold snap, which were readily provided. There is a nespresso machine for a decent cup of coffee and plenty of tea choices and little shortbreads and the staff are helpful and generous with all supplies (in our 3 week stay we wanted loads of decaf pods every day and they went out of their way to bring it especially). The shower was good and the bathroom was clean and kept that way. There is a bar downstairs where you can also get decent bar meals but not cheap and some choices were definitely better than others for quality and cooking skill. The breakfast buffet is excellent, though pretty pricey so not for every day of a long stay.

Leonardo Hotel Glasgow is well located in the city centre, and about 18 minutes away from the Glasgow airport. It is situated in the very centre of the city of Glasgow with 2 minutes walk to Glasgow Central train station and easy access to other parts of the town. It is an eleven story building with great aesthetics. The staff team is a great asset. They are friendly and always ready to support guests. The reception hall is tastefully furnished with sofas and well designed chairs with a desk situated on the left as yo enter the hotel lounge manned by 3 or more staff. It is a 24-hour reception llounge. The bar is to the right of the reception with sitting areas while the breakfast hall is behind the bar. The breakfast is a continental buffet type, with so many options and tasty meals to appeal to different taste buds. The rooms are clean, well serviced, and with all modes and cons. There is a gym 🏋️‍♂️ on the first level moderately furnished with tools and exercise material. Also, on the first level are meeting rooms and lounges for group meetings. The upper levels from floor 2 to 11 are for guest rooms. The rooms are sizable with comfortable beds, which are well laid. I will definitely visit the hotel again when I visit Glasgow.

The room was really spacious, modern decor and furnishing with a stylish bathroom. Superior double had sofa, large TV as well as nespresso machine, iron, hairdryer and safe, really good room for the price and city centre location. Staff all really friendly and the hotel common areas, bar, restaurent and room were all spotless. Lots of staff visible taking good care of the place and even overheard some positive training of newer staff in high standards to support the guest experience. Breakfast was spot on, staff really friendly and personable ... really good. The omlette station was spot on with a really good guy, great personality and on his first day serving up a really superb omlette. Breakfast offering of hot full scottish as well as continental all looked great and tasted good. Would reccommend if you stay. Nicest hotel ive stayed in in Glasgow city centre of the 4 ive stayed in. For me a better choice than the motel one on the other side of the train station and quality upgrade on premier inns as well. Good hotel. Parking discounted on the Q-Park right across the road as well, good secure car park with wide spaces which arent the norm for a multi-storey, way above the NCP standard and 50% off for hotel guests.

We had booked an apartment through booking.com arriving Wednesday at approximately 3pm. I will be dealing with this booking separately with you, but it was a huge disappointment. It was very dirty and tired, we found other people's detritus and it was not at all hygienic. We have never had to complain before to booking.com but eventually we received a refund and attended at the Leonardo. We were met with the kindest and most efficient reception staff. The hotel was beautiful , the room immaculate and not a speck of dirt. The bed was so comfortable and we had a wonderful time. The location was also great and we took a bus sightseeing tour before watching our daughter row for Wales at the Home International Regatta at Strathclyde country park on the Saturday. The room had 2 beds so she stayed with us for the final evening and appreciated the comfort and standard as she has been training hard for a fortnight followed by a day of tough racing. Thank you for assisting with the refund, turning a horrible situation into a perfect break.

The hotel upon entering is impressive, looks nice and clean. The staff were professional and helpful for any information on the city or transportation. The first room we had faced the road and was loud in the night with traffic, emergency vehicles etc. When I asked to move they accommodated without any issues. The higher the floor the less noise. The breakfast at this hotel is wonderful! I have stayed at many places in Europe and this one was very nice. They even offered oat and almond milk. They have a chef who will cook you an omelet and has fresh pancakes made at his stand. The selection of fresh fruit, an English breakfast, cereals ,yogurts ,fresh juice starts your day out full and satisfied! The area of the hotel is on the end of a street that is a bit sketchy. Once inside feel we felt safe but after dinner gets a bit dicey.
